Kirriemuir also has a Camera Obscura, which was gifted to the town by J M Barrie. Camera Obscura is situated in the Cricket Pavilion on Kirriemuir Hill. Kirriemuir Hill is also home to 'Neverland', a Peter Pan Theme park for children of all ages. The Gateway to the Glens Museum is in the Square in town and has many interesting displays on throughout the year (closed on Mondays).
Glamis Castle, childhood home of the late Queen Mother, is also close by, and the castle and grounds are open to the public from Easter to December.
